Join us on Wednesday evening, April 10, for a discussion with Andres Mantilla, Director of Seattle’s Department of Neighborhoods.
Several years ago then Mayor Murray significantly changed the way the City engages with neighborhoods in terms of both information sharing and soliciting feedback on projects and programs the City was already undertaking or considering. Under current Mayor Durkan, this trend has continued. Mantilla, appointed by Durkan, will tell us about this new approach, how well it has been working, as well as address your questions and concerns about neighborhood involvement.
We’ll also hear updates from a couple Ballard District Council member organizations and if time permits we’ll have opportunity for attendees to briefly talk about specific neighborhood concerns or ideas they have, to help inform our agenda for the latter half of 2019.
Please join us at the April BDC meeting. All are welcome!
